We usually make sure the house is puppy proofed but what about our backyards?
Here’s a mini checklist:
- Make sure any escape routes out of the yard are blocked off
- A fence or cover for pools and ponds
- Garden sheds or garages closed (if you don’t want your puppy to access it)
- Make sure no garden chemicals and tools are lying around
- Make sure you have no toxic plants in the yard
